Lineup Optimizer Beta
Build FanDuel and DraftKings lineups (classic and DraftKings Showdown) from our own simulation ranges. Optimize on the mean, the median or the p85 ceiling, then stack, lock, fade and export a CSV you can upload.
Out and IR players and backups are left out automatically. Settings, locks, overrides and exposures are saved in this browser only.
Multi-entry and late swap (use your site's entries file)
Download your entries CSV from the site (DraftKings: My Contests → Upcoming → Edit Entries; FanDuel: Upcoming → Entries → Download). Load it here, then either fill every entry with the lineups you built (in order), or late-swap: players whose game has kicked off stay in their slot, everyone else from started games is unavailable, and the open slots are re-optimized with your current settings. Upload the file back to the same site.

Proj = the number the optimizer uses (your override if set, otherwise the selected mode). Pts/$1K uses Proj. FanDuel points use FanDuel scoring; DraftKings points are scored from the same simulations with DraftKings rules (full PPR, +3 at 300 pass / 100 rush / 100 receiving yards, pass TD 4, INT -1). Fumbles lost and 2-pt conversions aren't simulated. Methodology.
How it works
- Exact solver. Each lineup is solved as an integer program (HiGHS, running in your browser), so it's the best lineup the rules allow for the numbers you chose.
- Several lineups. Each new lineup must differ from every earlier one by at least "Min unique" players. Max exposure caps how many lineups a player can be in; Min % forces a player in until that share is reached. Randomness nudges each projection up or down by up to that percentage for lineups 2 and on.
- Stacks. "QB + N" requires N pass catchers from your QB's team, "Bring-back" requires opponents of your QB, and "Game stack" requires that many players from the QB's game in total.
- Export. The CSV uses each site's upload format (player IDs, one row per lineup). FLEX gets the latest-kickoff eligible player, which keeps late swaps open. For many entries, load your entries file to fill each entry or late-swap it.
- Pool. Only players listed on the chosen site and slate are in the pool, with that slate's salary and ID. Out, IR and backup players are left out by default (see "Filtered out").
- Showdown. DraftKings Captain mode: 1 CPT (1.5x salary and points) + 5 FLEX, $50,000, both teams required. Kickers aren't projected, so they aren't used.
- Rules. FanDuel: QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, FLEX, DEF, $60,000 cap, max 4 players per team. DraftKings: QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, FLEX, DST, $50,000 cap, players from 2+ games.
